This Mara Leather 3/4 length Shearling Leather coat is the most exquisite, gorgeous, warm, and perfect winter leather coat ever!!! I spent three weeks shopping online for a shearling leather coat with a hood that was around knee length and this turned out to be the best of the best. If you want beautiful, sophisticated, truly warm leather coat, this is your best choice. I am a film director and I travel constantly. Yes. Our motorcycle jackets are made from genuine leather that molds to your body and holds up against wind and weather. Each product page lists the exact hide, such as cowhide, lambskin, sheepskin or suede. Check it to match the leather to your riding style.
Can I wear my leather jacket with body armor inside?
Many of our styles are armor-ready, with pockets for CE-rated protection. Look for this in the product description before you order. If you want protection without bulky layers, our armored flannels and full body armor are worth a look.
How do I pick the right size when I can’t try the jacket on first?
Measure your chest over the shirt or layer you’ll ride in, then compare it with the size chart on the product page. Riders who want room for a hoodie or armor usually size up. If you’re between sizes or need a Big & Tall fit, message us before ordering.
What’s the difference between a leather vest and a denim vest for a club or everyday riding?
Leather vests are more durable, wind-resistant and traditional for club colors. Denim vests are lighter, cheaper and easier to sew patches onto. We carry both, along with patched vests, so you can pick based on climate and budget.
Do your vests have concealed carry pockets, and can I add patches?
Several of our men’s vests, including the Hot Leathers and tactical styles, have concealed carry pockets. Check each listing for this feature and the pocket placement. Our biker vest patches and vest extenders let you customize the fit and look.
Will a shearling jacket be warm enough for cold-weather riding?
Yes. Real sheepskin with a dense wool lining traps heat naturally, and the leather exterior blocks wind. Aviator, bomber and 3/4-length styles suit different rides. For long, freezing rides, layer a base under it and size up slightly.
How do I break in and care for my new leather gear?
New leather usually feels stiff at first and softens with wear, so give it a few rides. Condition it regularly with a leather conditioner. Suede and nubuck need their own care kit, so don’t use regular conditioner on them. We sell leather care kits in our Accessories section.
I’m ordering from outside the US. What should I expect for shipping, duties and returns?
